Proceeds from the event benefit the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's world-class patient care and research breakthroughs that advance the possibility of repair, regeneration and recovery for patients who seek rehabilitation care.
Foot participants had the opportunity to walk, run or jog up the Willis Tower's 2,109 steps. Hand participants could use hand cycles mathematically calibrated to match the resistance and time necessary to ascend the Willis Tower's 103 floors.
