The group said the buttered combo at the Regal Theatre chain had 1600 calories and 60 grams of fat.
Regal released a statement saying movie popcorn is meant to be a snack and not part of your daily diet.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest analyzed popcorn served at some of the nation's largest theatre chains.
The group found that a medium-sized popcorn and medium soft drink has as many calories as three McDonald's quarter pounders topped with 12 pats of butter.
