"Twilight" saga continues: "New Moon"

New Moon is the second installment of author Stephenie Meyer's phenomenally successful 'Twilight' series. The movie opens throughout Chicago this weekend. In this sequel, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of -- only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.

Following Bella's ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward's image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.

With the help of her childhood friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella's frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own. When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward's true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she'd hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made 'Twilight' a worldwide phenomenon, 'The Twilight Saga: New Moon' is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit.

About Ashley Greene And Kellan Lutz

Ashley Greene is a southern girl from Jacksonville, Florida, who moved to Los Angeles fresh out of high school, graduating early at the age of 17, in order to pursue a modeling career. At 5'5", she was told she was too short and that she should pursue an acting career. Ashley studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute and broke into Hollywood with roles in popular television shows including Ashton Kutcher's prank show Punk'd and Fox's MADtv.

She adores Audrey Hepburn, and as a result one of her all time favorite movie is Breakfast At Tiffany's. "I love love, love Audrey Hepburn. She's so timeless and classically beautiful," she says. "Geena Davis is also great. Long Kiss Goodnight was a favorite of mine for a while. Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep and Felicity Huffman are some others I look up to. I really would love to do a piece like Julia Roberts or Charlize Theron in Erin Brockovich or North Country. They were both so amazing and so inspiring. I would love to touch someone in the way they're performances touched me. Obviously that will be when I play 30 and not 16 so I have time."

She has done modeling work for Fenk Junk, Vision NYC, Sutra and been photographed by Carlos Armando for some campaigns. She carries herself with the grace of a dancer when walking. Her acting career started in 2006 when she guest starred on the television shows Crossing Jordan, playing Ann Rappaport opposite Jill Hennessy and Miguel Ferrer, and Shark, in which she was only seen in brief shots in the background - but bigger parts soon followed. Ashley then got a regular gig on the soap Desire. Stepping into the film scene, Ashley had a part in 2007's King of California. Up next for her is the thriller Otis and the sci-fi drama Radio Free Albemuth, where she plays Rhonda.

Now she plays vampire Alice Cullen in the highly anticipated Twilight movie New Moon (www.newmoonthemovie.com<./a>). Alice Cullen (born Mary Alice Brandon) is the adopted daughter of Carlisle and Esme, adoptive sister of Edward, Rosalie, and Emmett, and wife of Jasper. Throughout Twilight, Alice uses her ability to see the future and help Bella when she is in danger. The two soon become friends, loving each other like sisters.

"The Cast is amazing! Everyone pretty much 'clicks' which is very nice considering we are family now," she says. "Of course, I've read all three books! A few times actually. I finished all three books, and become a fan before I was even cast!"

There is that pressure to appeal to die hard fans and also people who have never heard of the book, she adds.

"I am trying to keep the character pretty similar to the book. Everyone has a different take though. I don't want to give anything away, but I am trying to give the character layers that people may not have picked up on. Most people see her as a cheerful cute bubbly girl, and there is just so much more to Alice than that," Ashley says.

"We are doing a good amount of stunt work. So neat! I'm trying to do all of my own stunt stuff." Ashley also had to learn to pitch like a professional for the baseball scene in Twilight.

"I relate somehow with any character but this one is a little different considering she is a vampire who can see the future, Ashley says of Alice Cullen. "I do have the same intense love for my family I'm very blessed to have such an amazing family. And I care a lot about others feelings; I would never want to intentionally hurt anyone. And what girl doesn't love shopping!? "Alice's wardrobe is a mixture of modern edge with elegance and magic I have the best wardrobe."

Kellan is of course best known for playing Ashley's brother Emmett Cullen in the Twilight films. After graduating high school he moved to California to attend Chapman University for chemical engineering, but later decided to pursue an acting career instead. Had he not chosen this path, however, he also considered trying to become a Navy SEAL. Before acting, he was an Abercrombie & Fitch model. He has also appeared in numerous television shows, most notably 90210. In Lutz's free time, he likes to take part in extreme skateboarding, weight training, track, baseball, basketball, lacrosse, swimming, tennis, racquetball, badminton, snow skiing, snowboarding, dance, and numerous other activities. He also has a passion for horror films and will be in the next installment of the Nightmare on Elm Street" series of films. He prefers to perform his own stunts when making films. He is a long time friend of Twilight co-star Ashley Greene and they are also appearing this year in the film Warrior.
