Woman, 110, gets queen to tweak birthday cards

November 24, 2009 Catherine Masters has received birthday cards from the queen several times since hitting the century mark. She became tired of seeing the queen wearing a yellow dress five times in a row. Masters wrote a letter to Buckingham Palace to complain about "that same old birthday card."

Prince William visited to apologize. And this year's greeting arrived Monday.

"It's lovely. Oh yes, that will do. That will do," Masters said upon opening this year's card.

In Britain, you can get a card from the queen when you turn 100, 105 and every year after that. Masters says she isn't sure what color she wants next year.
