County Board president candidates debate

Most of the candidates for Cook County Board president squared off during a debate Sunday afternoon.Congressman Danny Davis moderated the forum.

Cook County Clerk Dorothy Brown, Alderman Toni Preckwinkle and Metropolitan Water Reclamation District President Terry O'Brien squared off in a debate organized by a coalition of African-American gay and lesbian organizations.

Each candidate outlined his or her goals. Then, they covered a variety of topics from economic development to the impact of HIV and AIDS.

Incumbent President Todd Stroger did not attend.
