The officers were in Afghanistan from October 2008 until last August as part of a security force. Upon their return, they presented the Elmhurst Police Department with a flag and a plaque.

Elmhurst Police officers Michael Pretto and Alan Webb recently returned to the force.
Both are members of the Illinois National Guard 634th Security Forces Company out of Joliet, Illinois.
