Homeless man fights Naperville ban

December 17, 2009 (NAPERVILLE, Ill.) Scott Huber, 59, has found shelter near a parking garage at 75 East Chicago Avenue in Naperville for the last eight years. But a new ordinance bans people from sleeping and storing property in public.

Huber is protesting the law.

"They're restricting me from being out where i would rather be and intimidating me with this. I think they're infringing on my first amendment rights to be out there," said Scott Huber.

A judge heard Huber's case on Thursday and set a court date for January 7. Now, Huber's looking for an attorney to represent him.
