This holiday season is bountiful for Fisher House, a family stay facility at Hines Veterans Hospital.The hospital's acting director accepted two checks, each for $50,000. One was from a healing field of honor fundraiser sponsored by the Naperville Exchange Club. The other was from Operation Support Our Troops.
The money is for Fisher House, where veterans' families will stay while Hines treats the vets.
