Scientists are studying the effects of caffeine on kids. They're determining the impact of regular caffeine consumption on their blood pressure, heart rate and hand tremors and whether both genders experience the same effects. Researchers at the University of Buffalo are also studying whether caffeine consumption contributes to later use of drugs once children become teenagers.

The research appears in the December 2009 issue of Behavioral Pharmacology.
