Prosecutors say teen's 2002 murder now solved

February 27, 2010 (CHICAGO) Mario Casciaro is charged with first-degree murder and concealment of a homicidal death. He was being held on $5 million bond.

The victim, 17-year-old Brian Carrick of Johnsburg, was working in a grocery store when he disappeared.

His family praised Johnsburg police and McHenry County prosecutors for not giving up on case that is more than seven years old.

A motive for the alleged murder was not disclosed.
