"I'm very proud that the manufacturing remains a vital sector of our city's economy today and that's why I'm pleased to be here to celebrate Made in Chicago," said Mayor Daley.
About 20 Chicago-based manufacturers showed off their products.
Made in Chicago is an ongoing program developed by the Department of Community Development. The program works to promote Chicago manufacturers and their products.
