Fifteen-year-old Taylor Sweitzer received a warm welcome when he arrived at O'Hare Airport Monday afternoon. It had to take the chill off from his journey to the North Pole.
Sweitzer says he spent a week skiing to the pole. His greatest challenge: staying warm.
"I think maintaining and regulating body temperature was difficult. When you're skiing for 8 to 10 hours a day, it can be tough to do that," said Sweitzer.
He is the youngest person to successfully ski the 'Last Degree' over the ice and reach the North Pole.
