Dog rescued from Naperville recliner

Three Naperville firefighters came to the rescue of a dog that got trapped inside a recliner at the Sunrise assisted living home.

The dog was trapped between the footrest and the base of the electric powered chair. His owner apparently didn't see him and turned on the control.

Firefighters tried to use the Jaws of Life to free the 5-year old Jack Russell terrier named Ebonyzer. Rescuers had to free the dog by cutting the chair with a power saw.

Ebonyzer is a little sore but fine.
