Berwyn Car Spindle artist dies at 61

The artist who created Berwyn's Car Spindle, a sculpture of cars stacked on top of each other that was torn down in 2008, has died. Dustin Shuler said he was extremely proud of his work.

The spindle went up in 1989 and was immortalized in the movie "Wayne's World." It was removed two years ago to make way for a new Walgreen's.

Shuler lived in southern California. He died at his home from cancer. Shuler was 61.
