Ten-year-old Carly Helm and her turtle were separated after a mix-up flying out of Atlanta's airport.
The turtle was initially allowed on the plane, but then AirTran made her remove it. She left it in the airport for her dad to pick up, but an airline worker took it home.
Air Tran decided to fly the animal to Milwaukee on a cargo jet where it passed Carly's inspection.
Air Tran doesn't allow turtles on commercial flights because turtles can carry salmonella.
