Company offers divorce insurance

August 9, 2010 That's why Safeguard Guaranty is now offering divorce insurance. The North Carolina company devised a policy to provide financial assistance to cover legal proceedings and setting up a new residence.

The cost is about $16 monthly, and divorced partners get about $1,200 in coverage.
