Eric Gilford, of Downers Grove, pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges of first-degree murder, home invasion and intentional homicide of an unborn child.
Investigators say he stabbed Kristine Gilford in front of their 4-year-old daughter.
Prosecutors say she lived long enough to identify Eric Gilford as her killer.
He fled to Wyoming and was arrested there last month.
