Prosecutors are pushing for a 3-year prison sentence for former Chicago Alderman Ed Vrdolyak.

He was convicted in a million dollar kickback scheme involving a property in the Gold Coast.

The judge in Vrdolyak's case sentenced him to probation last year, but an appeals court reversed that decision and reassigned the case to a different judge.

Prosecutors will ask for a 3-year prison term when Vrdolyak is resentenced next month.
