Police say an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were sitting inside a parked car in the 1700-block of North Luna around 4 a.m. when a gunman approached and opened fire. Both victims were shot.
A witness at the scene says the driver in the car tried to get help but crashed into a parked vehicle and into a garage. The male victim was pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital. The condition of the female victim is unknown.
No one is in custody.
