"There is no conflict with me over how you serve the public, whether you serve the public as mayor, whether you serve 'em as state senator. And so I don't think this is a big leap from pastor to mayor. I think the leap was from pastor to state senator, and now state senator to mayor," said Rev. Meeks. "I don't want to be the pastor of Chicago. I want to be the mayor."
Meeks says he is days away from deciding whether to run.
