FEMA extends flood disaster deadline

July flood victims in the seven designated counties- including Carroll, Cook, DuPage, Jo Daviess, Ogle, Stephenson and Winnebago- now have until November 17th for individual assistance, which can include grants for temporary housing and home repair, low cost loans, and other recovery programs for individuals and businesses.

FEMA has already approved more than $252-million for individual assistance.
