Eighth District Congresswoman Melissa Bean faced two challengers at a candidates' forum Wednesday night.The Democrat has been in office since 2005. Her Republican opponent is Joe Walsh. Bill Scheurer is the Green Party candidate.
The League of Women Voters forum took place at Grayslake Central High School. A panel of four students asked the candidates questions.
