Chicago man charged in alleged murder-for-hire plot

A real estate developer from Chicago is in a Colorado jail, charged in connection with an alleged murder-for-hire plot.Brooks Kellogg, 73, is accused of paying $2,000 to hire a hit man who turned out to be an undercover agent.

Kellogg was arrested at Denver International Airport.

The U.S. Attorney's office says he was planning to kill a business associate who successfully sued him in Steamboat Springs.

Kellogg faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
