No rest for candidates for governor Sunday

October 24, 2010 (CHICAGO) Republican Bill Brady and Democrat Pat Quinn attended a morning service at the House of Hope Church on the South Side.

They prayed with House of Hope's pastor, Rev. James Meeks.

The candidates addressed the congregation, hoping to score votes among the church's mostly African American membership.

Meanwhile, Brady has asked for an apology from Quinn's campaign over comments made by State Senator and Quinn supporter Rickey Hendon.

Hendon called Brady a racist. Quinn has distanced himself from those comments.
