Fish oil may help fight gum disease

Research shows people who consume omega-3 fatty acids were up to 30 percent less likely to have gum disease.

It's not sure how much fish oil should be consumed regularly to help ward off gum disease, but the American Heart Disease recommends eating fatty fish twice a week to help reduce heart attack and strokes.
