Cook County Board President Stroger's former deputy chief of staff, Carla Oglesby, and her attorney filed a motion to have items that were seized from her office turned over to the court.
The attorney told the judge the scope of the warrant was too broad and included documents that are covered by attorney-client privilege.
The judge denied the motion, saying he would not interfere with the ongoing grand jury investigation.
