Monday marked the end of an era for one of the most famous car brands in U.S. history.

Pontiac is out of business. It officially reached the end of the road Sunday when agreements expired between General Motors and Pontiac dealers.

GM pulled the plug on Pontiac after it filed for bankruptcy because of slipping sales.

For people still driving a Pontiac, GM dealers are still offering service and honoring warranties.
