A school bus carrying about two dozen students went into a ditch in rural Missouri.

The bus was carrying students to three high schools in Clay County Thursday morning.

The bus driver and seven students were taken to the hospital. None of the injuries appeared to be serious.

Police say the driver passed over a bridge and hit a guard rail before going into the ditch, hitting a couple of trees and coming to a stop in a creek.
