In the latest tally, Walsh had about a 347-vote lead over incumbent Rep. Bean.
Final results are expected to be announced Tuesday afternoon. Lake County has the biggest number of votes to be counted.
While Bean holds out hope that she will hold on to her seat in Congress, Walsh is confident that he will be named the winner.
He plans to hold a press conference in Washington once all the counties' vote totals are in.
