Big-name entertainers and top government officials took part in a celebration Saturday night at Chicago's Art Institute.U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder was among special guests attending the History Makers 10th anniversary gala. He was joined more than 100 history makers from across the country.
The organization History Makers is a non-profit group that records the histories of unsung African-Americans.
A highlight of the evening was entertainment by singer Dionne Warwick.
