A jury has convicted an alleged neo-Nazi for defacing headstones in a Jewish cemetery in unincorporated Norridge.

Twenty-four-year-old Mariusz Wdziekonski of Skokie admitted to spray-painting swastikas and anti-Semitic slurs on headstones at nearly graves at the Westlawn Cemetery in 2008.

Prosecutors told the jury said he did it because he is a Nazi and he hates Jews. He will be sentenced later this month.
