December 20, 2010 (CHICAGO)

A crowd of friends and relatives waited at O'Hare Airport to welcome the Nunez family. When Army Specialist Hector Nunez faced deployment to Afghanistanm, his wife Rosa went to Mexico with their son to clear up her immigration status. To their surprise, she was barred from returning to the U.S. for 10 years. But after six months, she was granted a humanitarian visa.

"At first when all this thing started, it was like a nightmare. Now it's like a dream, a dream come true, miracles happen," said Army Specialist Nunez.

"I'm so happy. Being home with my husband is the best thing ever," said Rosa Nunez.

Sometime after Christmas, Nunez expects to join his unit in Afghanistan.
