Christmas services around the area

December 25, 2010 (CHICAGO)

Music filled the sanctuary at Fourth Presbyterian Church on N. Michigan Avenue.

The church calls itself a 'light in the city' reflecting the inclusive love of god.

Those who wanted to could enjoy a traditional Christmas dinner after the service.

A number of people attended services this morning at St. James Episcopal Cathedral on E. Huron.

The cathedral is home to the city's oldest episcopal congregation. The church says its Christmas services are a way of sharing the gift of God's son with others.

In Munster, Indiana Saturday evening, the Family Christian Center hosted a 'Christmas experience.'

It included a live nativity scene with camels and sheep. Santa was also there.
