A hill in north suburban Evanston attracted lots of daredevils who were brave enough to slide down it.
Some of them seemed like they could possibly use a bit more practice and better technique, but most did rather well.
Parent Scott Buhrmaster called the hill "fantastic."
"My son, Cameron, he actually just went down this pretty intimidating hill for the first time on a snowboard standing up, nailed it. So I'm pretty impressed. An exciting end for Christmas, for sure," said Buhrmaster.
The hill is known as Mount Trashmore. If you'd like to whip down it, it's at Oakton and Dodge.
