U.S. postal inspectors are investigating a series of attacks on letter carriers in Chicago.

There have been six attacks reported. They all took place on Tuesday and Wednesday during daylight hours on the city's Southeast Side in the Jackson Park, South Shore and Grand Crossing neighborhoods.

No letter carrier was hurt. But in at least one of the incidents the attacker allegedly pulled a knife and demanded money.
