A new report finds one-third of babies are falling into the obese category by the time they are 9 months old.
There are a couple catches to the report in the AmericanJournal of Health Promotion.
The babies in the study were born about a decade ago.
The study also showed not all of the infants were doomed to be overweight forever.
Researchers say the study is a good reminder to parents to start healthy eating habits early on, including breast feeding and making sure a baby gets regular meals and snacks along with a good night's sleep.
