First lady taps Chicago attorney as new chief of staff

First lady Michelle Obama has selected a long-time Chicagoan to be her new chief of staff.

Fifty-four-year-old Tina Tchen is an attorney. She will replace Susan Sher, another Chicago attorney.

Tchen has held several administration jobs, including deputy assistant to the president. She is a native of Columbus, Ohio, and attended Harvard and Northwestern Law School.
