A woman is accused of stealing $1.5 million from a company where she worked.

Julie Nowaczyk has been the bookkeeper at ENR General Machining Company for the past 10 years.

Last July, the company's owners suspected there was money missing from their accounts.

Prosecutors say Nowaczyk had written hundreds of checks to herself and transferred money to her credit cards.

Nowaczyk is charged with felony theft.

Prosecutors say she stole the money to feed her gambling habit.
