Study: Working moms have heavier kids

Could it be that the more a mom works, the heavier her child will be?

That's the finding of a new study that found the cumulative time that a child's mother worked was associated with a small but measureable increase in the child's body-mass index.

Scientists conclude that it may be changes in children's eating and sleeping patterns that account for this.

They say the take home message is working parents need to think twice about feeding their families a lot of processed and pre-packaged foods.
