Two adults face felony charges in connection with the investigation of 16-year-old runaway from Schaumburg.

Jose Alberto Quiroz, 27, of 759 S. Kilpatrick in Chicago, is charged with three felony counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse, one (01) felony count of Child Pornography, and one misdemeanor count of Harboring a Runaway. Felicia Michelle Chavez, 18, 387 Raymond St. in Elgin, has been charged with one felony count Obstructing Justice.

Schaumburg police detectives said Quiroz met the victim through a telephone chat room. They developed a relationship that included sex in January and February and on March 2 the victim's cousin, Chavez, dropped Quiroz and the victim off at a train station. Police say Chavez did not cooperate in finding the girl.

Quiroz and the teen were found on March 7 in a hotel room in Chicago.

Police said officers also found photos of a juvenile on Quiroz's cell phone.
