Drug-makers eliminating liquid drops for infants

Major drug-makers will now stop making infant medicine drops that contain acetaminophen.

Right now, baby medications are currently available containing half the amount of the pain reliever found in regular children's formulas. But that can lead to confusion and overdoses.

Acetaminophen is found in numerous medicines used to treat headaches, fever and sore throats. It is the leading cause of liver failure nationwide, and sends thousands of people to emergency rooms each year.
