Mayor Rahm Emanuel reportedly is looking at ending the shared lease program. According to the Chicago Tribune, the city will save more than $430,000 each year by ending the program, which affects approximately 78 city workers.
The city is also reviewing the take-home car privileges for roughly 4,800 other city employees to cut costs.
