The massive power outage forced a time change for Tuesday's U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal soccer match at Chicago's Toyota Park.

The match between the Chicago Fire and the New York Red Bulls got under way at 5 o'clock, two and a half hours earlier than scheduled.

Park officials say they wanted the crowd to leave in daylight because of disabled traffic lights in the area. There were also concerns that stadium lights could put a strain on power demand.
