Leaving your I.D. in the back of a cab can be an inconvenient mistake, but if it was a cab you just robbed, that mistake could land you behind bars.

Prosecutors say that's what 29-year-old Antonio Crawford did. They allege he first tried to use a stolen credit card to pay for a ride from Arlington Heights to Chicago's South Side. When the card was declined, prosecutors say Crawford pulled out a handgun and robbed the cab driver.

Police say while making his getaway, Crawford left behind his I.D. He was arrested Saturday.
