A stolen van belonging to the band was found, but the musical equipment that was inside is still missing.
The red, Ford van belonging to the group Portugal the Man was stolen from an attended parking lot near Grant Park.
It was found later in the 5800-block of South Paulina, but both the van and the trailer were empty when they were located.
Ninety-seven pieces of equipment, including some instruments, were inside of the van.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
