Two firefighters injured battling blaze

Two Chicago firefighters were injured Monday in a fire on the city's South Side.

The fire started in the attic of a two-and-a-half story home near 92nd and South Manistee Avenue just before 7 p.m.

The firefighters were taken to Trinity Hospital in fair to serious condition. A woman was also injured, but she was treated and released at the scene.
