They were trying to pull over Don Shedrick after they allegedly spotted him driving while talking on his cellphone near Oak and Clark, but he wouldn't stop. At one point, Shedrick allegedly ran his vehicle into a police squad car. An officer suffered minor injuries.
Police eventually caught up with Shedrick as he tried to run away. He's charged with leaving the scene of an accident that involved an injury.
