Police were called to the home of State Senator Suzi Schmidt on Monday for the second time in about six weeks to investigate a domestic battery call.

Lake County Sheriff's officers went to the Republican senator's home in Villa Park to meet with her and her husband.

No charges were filed.

Back in August, police went to the Schmidt home after the couple reportedly got into an argument. No one was charged in that incident.
