The winning bidder paid $772,000 for the urn. That's $200,000 more than its estimated value.
Leslie Hindman Auctioneers says the urn was from the collection of Ralph Esmerian, the former owner of Fred Leighton Jewelers. He was sentenced to six years in prison for fraud this summer.
