The Chicago Canine Rescue Foundation invites you to the 8th Annual Mutt Strut on Saturday, October 8, in Lakeview. The 1.5-mile walk is open to all ages and includes a block party. Proceeds from the event will benefit the CCR.
Board member Sara Lorenzo was in our ABC7 studio to talk about the event and the organization. She brought two adoptable pups, "Happy" and "Sleepy." They are $300 each to adopt. That includes vaccinations, microchip, neutering and 30 days of pet insurance.
If you cannot make it to the Mutt Strut, you can still visit the CCR and give a loving dog or even cat a new home. The foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary.
